Designed to help Level Up in the following categories:
[Focus]
Through meditation and mastery of the breath, focus can increase exponentially.
[Strength]
Through consistent use of physical Asanas (postures) you will surprise yourself at how quickly you can Level Up in this category.
[Flexibility]
Through gentle use of Asanas you will learn to ease the body in to deeper flexibility and ranges of movement. Class will teach you to side step potential enemies like the Golgi Tendon reflex and Myotatic reflexes to achieve full range of motion.
[Safety]
As always, leveling up can be a dangerous adventure. Learn how to consistently keep your body safe in your personal and public practice to avoid injury.
[Bravery]
By knowing common sequences and posture names as well as developing better body awareness and mental stamina, you’ll become braver and ready to take on public classes without fear!
AND I’M IN! Where do I go?!
Where: Hudson Miramont, 8818 Travis Hills Drive Austin, TX 78735
When: Tuesdays and Fridays January 7th-31st from 4:00-5:30pm
Supplies: All you need is your yoga mat and a desire to level up. Some bonus tools that will help include 1-2 yoga blocks, yoga blanket, yoga strap (or any kind of soft fabric belt), and perhaps a hand towel.
(There are limited numbers of blocks, bolsters, straps and mats than can be provided by Level Up Yoga. If circumstances prevent you from providing your own supplies, contact Ashley@levelupyoga.com ASAP to reserve yours.)
What to expect: Ashley likes to talk about yoga, safety, bravery, and hippie nonsense…a lot. Every class is different but expect 10-15 minutes of discussion on safety, yogic philosophy, and everything else you need to know to reach the next level.
Cost: Cost?! No way Jose! This one’s on me. If you’d really like to help me out, embrace the teachings! Practice at home! And do your homework! Of course, if you ever get a chance to “talk me up” to a Yoga Studio, that’d be a great bonus mission.
